    Nathaniel Cleaveland
    D.O.

    Dr. Nathan Cleaveland joins Dominion Eye Center in 2016 as a surgical Ophthalmologist with a focus on using the latest technologically proven care to reduce the need for glasses in most daily activities after cataract surgery. This includes advanced technology intraocular lenses and laser cataract surgery. He practices Comprehensive Ophthalmology, and offers medical and laser treatment of glaucoma.  Dr. Cleaveland is a Tar Heel, originally from Western North Carolina, and received his undergraduate degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill. He completed his medical degree with honors from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech, and then completed both an internship and surgical ophthalmology residency training with Michigan State University.
